I'm new to BIB and have been having a problem with the count in volume being barely audible on certain songs. I have gone to the Pref>Count in Met and done all the correct things, like check audible lead in and set the volume to 127, (as Lloyd S suggested) but didn't help. Turns out, all the songs that I have a problem with have the same style, Floyd.Sty Floyd Cramer Piano. If I change the style to something else the count in met is now audible. I finally set those songs to a visual count in but would like to know if anyone else has that problem and is there a way to increase the volume without changing the style.

Hi rabic, Welcome to the forums  It could be that the volume for the Drum track is set to a low value and it's been saved with the song settings. This volume setting is a second control for the count-in. To change the setting of the Drum track have a look at the image below.  - First left-click on "Drums" (#1) to select the Drum track.
- Now left-click on the volume value (#2).
- Lastly, enter a value in the dialogue box that pops up (#3). Click OK.
Try putting in a value of 127 and see if this makes a difference. Hope this helps, Noel

Hi Rabic,
It may be important to know what Drum type loads when you load the Cramer style.
Load it, and take a look at the Drums trackname.
Is it Green or is it some other color?
If "Drums" is not Green, what color is it when that style is loaded?

Noel, When I left click on the "Drums" bullet (#1) I get a pop up with 18 commands that start with:
Mute
Solo
Real drums in style......
Etc.
That pop up covers over the volume set wheel(2)so I can't change the value. I've single clicked on the drum bullet and changed the value to 127 but it dosen't help. I can't locate the :Type in a number" window (3). Mac, in another post, asked about the color of the "Drums" track and it is green. I suspect you are both on the right track with the solution but I just can't get it to work.
"add/remove real drums
I have double clicked on "drums" and then clicked on "Add/Remove Real Drums...." I then clicked on "NashvilleSwing". When I go back to play it is still not audible so I go back and change it to "No Real Tracks Song Overide". When I hit play I get a nice audible count in. If I save the song and then open it the count in is back to unaudible. This program is messing with my head!!! What am I doing wrong??? Thsnks for your posts.

Try this in the way of an experiment:
Try CHANGING the Realdrum to another Realdrum that matches feel and tempo and see what happens then.
this to rule out a Realdrums file that may not have a loud countin or might be corrupted or the likes, dunno.
Worth the shot, let us know what happens.
It would help to tell us what the offending Realdrum name is, too, so we can try to duplicate.

Hi RABIC,
Try clicking in the word Drums and not the bullet (at least that's how it works for me).

Noel, Thanks for your reply. I called PGMusic support and found out that there are several styles, Floyd Cramer is one of them, that will not have an audible count in with Real Drums, it must be MIDI. I can work around that now that I know but was really stumped for a while. Thanks again for your help.
