But this thread is not asking for a file for the SD1000.
The SD1000 is still rather new, which means that someone will have to create .ins and other definition files and then also volunteer to webpublish same such that others can have them. That will likely happen as the device proliferates.
Sometimes the user does not have to start from scratch to come up with inst def file for a company's new device. Comparing the specs at the end of the user manuals, you might find that many of the Patch lists, Banks, etc. may be taken from earlier models and thus can start with the .ins file for the earlier model and append to it, edit appropriately, etc.
John-Luke, you seem to have enough knowledge about such things, judging from reading your posts here, maybe YOU will be the one who creates the first webpublished Instrument Definition file for his device?
