Well, first let me reverse-engineer the API. Then I can get my HTML5/JQuery skills up to speed. Then I can wait for all the browsers to standardize on a decent sound API.

After that, I'll find some spare time, which is probably laying around near my "extra" money I've been looking for. laugh

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Robh, First, let me say I am not mad at P.G.M. They have been super in every respect in the past and will continue to be so in the future. What I said was: I do not like the new rule, but can live with it. e.l.c. Second is I did not say I would give Jimmy a copy. Third is: I for one can not retain the words, chords, etc of a couple hundred songs. A key feature of BB for those of us so limited with talents. And a key change is somewhat difficult to do on an MP3. Anyway, why throw rocks at me? I have stated my opinion, and will stand by it. I did not say I would stop buying the product. I did say that I doubt that I will buy every new version that is offered in the future. I have nothing more to say about this matter. -----Leon

Peace to you Clayton, i did not mean to upset you as I did. I replied to your PM, and we will leave what was said there between us. I hope we can both let it go, and be helpful in the future.

Regards, Rob

I know I am late in the game, however what actually happens if you have a computer/HD crash? Do you lose one of your activations that way? How would you go about recuperating your activation?

Hi Phil,

If you're a legitimate BIAB owner, there will be no problem. If circumstances beyond your control mean that you'll be disadvantaged, simply contact PG Music. They're an outstanding company and they stand behind their customers. Both Peter and Andrew have made this clear.

Kind regards,
Noel

Noel's advice is, as always, good, I'd just like to add that you may be able to handle the situation without contacting PGMusic personally in this instance.

Once you would have your new disk with OS and BB and all installed and working (bb WILL run for 30 days without authorization, even in a reinstall like this), click on the Authorization to bring up the control stuff for it, and "release" the old authorization. Then apply the new. The machine must be connected to the Internet for this automated routine to happen, but even for machines that you don't connect to the Internet, then you can contact PGMusic directly, either via tollfree phone line, or email, and do the "manual" authorization using the code they provide at the time.

So, NOT TO WORRY.
