New updates are available for RealTracks and RealDrums. There have been many improvements since the August release of RealTracks Sets 40-66. There are over 60 RealTracks instruments updated plus many RealTracks demos (.MGU) and .STY. Updates include: cleaner guitar realcharts, more consistent volume levels, smoother playing over some less common chord types, 'out of memory' bug fixes, 'wrong chord' fixes, ending fixes, and miscellaneous RealDrums improvements. http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windows_realdrums.htm There is a patch that only contains updates since the August 12 2009 RealTracks release, or if you haven't downloaded RealTracks lately you can download a larger patch with ALL RealTracks updates

Sounds good, Andrew- thanks! I'm not sure if PG Music is considering this, or working on it currently, but one thing that would be great is an auto-updater in BIAB, which would run automatically when the program starts up, to evaluate what's currently on a user's system, connect to the PG Music Website and see if there are any updates, report these to the user, and give the user the option to install them right then or at a later time.

G'day Doug,
While such a facility would be good, it should NOT run automatically - a menu item that lets you run an updater manually would be OK, but not a "dialler". IMHO the ONLY things that should "dial home" for updates are anti virus and anti spyware tools that need almost daily updates.

And I believe that many of the forum members use a stand alone computer for BIAB, with no internet connection.

I'd like to note that PGMusic has to have the very BEST updating of any software that I have experienced. A lot of companies charge you for updates a lot less comprehensive than those that PG furnishes for free, and PG is always striving to improve the products.
So a big tip of the hat to PG, and to the most remarkable software that I have ever used.

A facility to auto check for updates (that could be de-selected if unwanted) would be a damned GOOD development of the programme IMHO

Only if you delete them and regenerate with the update and refreeze the track again.
Frozen track is just that, it is "frozen" because it was recorded to a .wav file and that is what plays back.

Great! Then I would not need to download any updates. I hoped being it was a live update as opposed to a published disc that the folks at BIAB would modify the file on the e-server. I wanted to double check to make sure.
