The Image tool here only works with graphic file extensions and then only certain ones at that.

I always use the jpeg extension because it is typically the one that conserves bandwidth the most.

I see on the page that the image itself is a jpg from rightlclicking on it and viewing its Properties, BUT Google is injecting some code that makes the entire thing into a URL instead of allowing just the jpg image to be grabbed from another URL. Likely to decrease the bogdown of hotlinking.

It is considered bad netiquette to hotlink to another site without site owner permission. I did that once and the site owner sent me an email rant you wouldn't believe (grin). Never did that again.

Now, if I want an image like that, I RightClick on the image, save it to my disk, then ftp it to one of my available servers to hotlink here. If you don't have a server available directly, there are free sites for this purpose that you can sign up for and upload these kind of hotlinked files to.

Just make sure that the site will not turn the thing into an actual url instead of a url with the actual filename ex: "mypic.jpg" at the very end of the string. That's what's needed to post images here.
