Where's old WienSam the Karaoke Man when we need him?
Just a S.W.A.G. since I don't really deal with Karaoke files, but RB is track specific on the notation and may be on the lyrics as well. This means that whatever track is selected in Tracks View becomes the one the Notation View is about.
Try selecting each track in turn and then try to view the lyrics, see if they aren't hiding on one specific track or something.
