RealTracks Artist Bio: Wes Little
Drummer Wes Little is equally at home in the world of jazz, rock, hip-hop and country. Now based in Nashville, he grew up in Wingate, north Carolina, but spent a great deal of time absorbing the jazz scene in New York, having earned a Master's degree in jazz drumming from the Manhattan School of Music. Wes is currently known as Robben Ford's drummer, but has also performed and recorded with the likes of Joe Nichols, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Mary J. Blige, Faith Hill, Beyonce, and more! He moved to Nashville in 2008, where he married fellow musician Britt Savage (also a RealTracks artist!). Through his career, he's performed in some of the world's most renown venues, such as Carnegie Hall, Hammerstein Ballroom, and the Grand Ol' Opry.
