RealTracks Artist Bio: Pat Bergeson
Incorporating Jazz, Blues, Rock, and finger style, Pat Bergeson is an excellent and versatile guitarist and harmonica player. He played on many Grammy Award-winning records and movie soundtracks. In 2001, Vintage Guitar magazine named him one of the top twelve favorite guitarists of all time.
Pat earned a Jazz Studies degree from the William Paterson University and for 10 years played in New York. Later he moved to Nashville to play for the Chet Atkins album, "Sneakin' Around" with Jerry Reed. He later also played on the albums "Read My Licks" and "Simpatico" with Chet Atkins and Suzy Bogguss.
Currently, Pat is an active session musician in Nashville and tours with Almman Brothers almuni, Les Brers Les Brers featuring Butch Trucks, Jaimoe, Otiel Burbridge, Jack Pearson, Marc Quinones, Bruce Katz and Lamar Williams Jr., The Tommy Emmanuel Classics & Christmas Tour with Tommy Emmanuel, John Knowles and Annie Sellick, soul music great, Charles "Wigg" Walker, The Moho Trippers with Annie Sellick, and Annie and the Hot Club, among others.Learn more about Pat at http://www.patbergeson.com/bio.html.
