RealTracks Artist Bio: Brian Allen
Brian Allen is an extraordinary bass player and recipient of the prestigious Louis Armstrong Jazz Award. Originally from Columbus, Indiana, he began to teach himself bass at the age of 11 and played live gigs around Indiana with his brother's band. He then moved to Los Angelos to attend the Musicians Institute, where he graduated with a degree in music. Since then he has become one of the most renowned bass guitarists in Nashville, and has toured and/or recorded with Robben Ford, Miranda Lambert, Sara Bareilles, Dolly Parton, Natalie Cole, the Temptations, and also contributed to the soundtrack of A Star is Born (2018) featuring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. His musical capabilites span from jazz to rock and everything in between!
